A lot of the major themes of the show have been reaffirmed over the past 24 hours or so. The NYT channels Greg Dworkin in declaring that Chris Christie is toast. Byron York channels Armando in saying that if the King plaintiffs succeed, Republicans will be like the dog that catches the car. But the real meat of the show was the discussion of the issues wrapped up in the Roosevelt Institute's Financialization Project. What is it? Lydia DePillis at the Washington Post explains, and Armando joins in riffing on it. We made an attempt to bring it back around to Aaron Schock's latest problems, and how they all grew out of his office décor denialism, but were really more indicative of class privilege and perhaps a shallow understanding of our faulty financial "policy consensus." And we also noted this important and always-relevant Dave Johnson post, "Reagan Revolution Home To Roost — In Charts," the must-see visual aid for today's discussion.
